Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
The nose is the most prominent feature of the human face. For many people, it is simply a part of their good looks and rarely merits a second thought. For many, the nose is simply out of proportion to their face. For others, the nose is an almost constant source of embarrassment.
Rhinoplasty can shorten, tilt up, build up, or straighten the nose, and reshape the tip. It creates definition and makes it proportional to your face, giving you a whole new appearance, and hopefully a permanent source of pride. Often this procedure is combined with Septoplasty, a functional improvement of the nasal airway through correction of abnormal internal nasal structures, such as a deviated septum.
Otoplasty (Ear Pinning)
Otoplasty or ear pinning surgery is done to correct protruding ears, which can be a source of ridicule as a child enters school. The surgery can be done at any time after age 6, and can be combined with other procedures. The husband of a patient who underwent abdominoplasty was so impressed by the boost to his wife's self-esteem from her tummy surgery that he underwent Otoplasty at the age of 64!
